The study and measurement of intelligence has been an important research topic in recent years. There is no clear agreement on what is it and how to measure it, nevertheless several theories have been proposed. Howard Gardner, Robert Sternberg, and David Perkins have developed several theories and summarized the main ideas in their works. ... In this work he proposed that intelligence “is not a single quantity or concept, but consists of a set of relatively independent abilities”. Gardner breaks intelligence down into the seven different components: linguistic, logical, musical, naturalistic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and visual intelligence.
