Waterclap, Asimov synopsis

|
The short story starts with Stephen Demerest decending into the ocean in a gondola. Demerest is a moon-man and is physically different because he needs to be to live on the moons environment. On the decent to Ocean-deep he asks many questions on the operation of the gondola. He asks these questions since he is the chief safety engineer on Luna City located on the moon. Upon entry onto Ocean-deep he is greeted by John Bergen who is the head of Ocean-deep. Demerest explains that he is there to learn about the safety features of Ocean-deep so that the same principles can be applied to Luna City, after many deaths were suffered there.
