The Greatest Comeback In History The Buffalo Bills hosted the Houston Oilers in a 1992 wild card game. Houston’s Warren Moon was playing simply amazing, keeping Buffalo’s defenders on the field and on most drives. They went into halftime up by the score of 28-3. That is when Marv Leavy gave the speech that started the most awesome half of football ever played. With 28 minutes left in the game, the Bills were down by 32 points, when finally QB Frank Reich woke up and started hitting his receivers to march to a 35-35 tie until finally buffalo took the lead with only 2:00 left 38-35.
