TOPIC: 3 best rivalries in college football STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this speech is to inform my listeners about the 3 greatest rivalries in college football. ORGANIZATIONAL PATTERN: Topical 107 years, that’s how long the rivalry of Ohio State and Michigan has been going on. Rivalries In college aren’t really a big deal because every school has a rival, but the rivals in this speech have all been around for a long time and the all time records for these rivalries are very close. I’m sure a lot of people in this class have seen a college game or a clip of one at one point or another. On Saturdays when nothing’s going on in the afternoon I like sitting down and watching a game or two.
