With their victory, the Devils won their third Stanley Cup in nine years, and the respect of hockey fans throughout the world. If previous Stanley Cup victories mean anything in the world of ice hockey, this one surely secures the point that the Devils are indeed one of the greatest NHL teams in recent history.
