To successfully play golf, a person needs success-oriented thinking. When a golfer is described as being ‘in the zone’ this has no relation to physical skill, equipment or technical ability. It has to do with sport and exercise psychology, which is defined as the scientific study of people and their behaviours in sport and exercise contexts and the practical applications of that knowledge.
