By the time Mays scored its first offensive touchdown Friday at Lakewood Stadium, the Raiders had their 24-12 victory over Creekside pretty much secured. With its offense struggling to reach the end zone most of the game, Mays (3-0) got a big boost from its defense and special teams. Mays only had 219 yards of offense on 49 plays, but got nine points from its special teams. "Our first three games have basically come down to the special teams performing well," Mays coach Darrell Caldwell said.
