Not until recently did the sport of hockey form the Zero Tolerance rule to kick out misbehaving fans, coaches, and parents from youth hockey games. Before this rule there was no real consequences for participants of a youth hockey game, so almost every type of behavior mostly went unpunished.
The warrant of the article is that participants of youth sporting events should be punished for their behavior. Backing the warrant in this article is talks about the hockey father, Michael Costin, a father of four who was killed at his son’s youth hockey game after getting into a fight at the game. ... Unfortunately this was a terrible incident but fortunately this event woke of youth sport officials on the level of violence at the games of young kids. Now parents are being watched more carefully at these events and a lot of times asked to leave the location of the sporting event.
