Two years ago we considered a cell phone owner to be someone who has a really important occupation or is rich. Today technology has advanced rapidly that children as young as twelve years old owns a cell phone. Cell phones are now a major business product in this country and have affected our society in many ways. A frequently talked about issue is whether the use of cell phones while operating a vehicle should be prohibited, unless using a hands-free device.
In California assemblyman Joe Simitian announced he will present assembly Bill 45, which requires cell phone users to use hands-free technology while driving.
