DBQ Eve of revolution
The United States of America have always been considered a large melting pot of people from around the world. During the 18th century groups from Europe and Africa poured into America to start a new life in several developing colonies. These groups quickly learned that in order to prosper and live freely they must unite and work as one American nation. The colonists began to rally together against the British government and fight for their rights as free people. Between the period of 1750 and 1776 the colonies of America developed both a strong national identity as well as a firm unity together before the onset of the revolution.
