Cancer is a medical condition where cells continue to grow and divide. They never age and they grow into tumors that can eventually enter the blood stream and spread. For years, medical experts thought that the cure was involved in changing or altering the actual cancerous cells. Dr. Folkman discovered that cancerous tumor can create blood vessels that transport nutrients to the tumor. Many doubted him, but after vigorous testing, he was able to prove his theory. I think that this video is very interesting. I find in amazing that the tumor can make new blood vessels so that it can expand. I know that we weren’t able to finish the video, but I am curious if they found the exact counter for the growth of the vessels.
