This report will explore the systems Georgia Power uses in its Transmission Control Center (TCC) by providing company history and background, an overview of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and its related software and hardware systems, a description of the evolution of the system, a detailed listing of the advantages and disadvantages of the technology, an analysis of future applications and developments of the technology, and a compilation of recommendations and conclusions. ...
