User Documentation
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to open Ms Access, add a record, delete a record and open all the forms that I have created.
The first thing a user needs to do is put the plug in the wall and press the power button on the computer. ... The user should then enter in their username and the appropriate password and press the enter key.
From the screen which follows, the user should double click on the Microsoft Access icon (below)
Once the user has clicked on Microsoft Access, the following application will open offering the user the option to create a new database or to open up an existing database.
The user should then click on the Browser Books database and then the following ‘Splash Screen’ should appear. This will bring the user into the Browser Books database.
The splash screen will remain on the screen for 3 seconds and then it will bring the user on to the main menu screen. The main menu screen is as follows and allows the user to access the following:
· Customer Details Form
· Order Details Form
· Supplier Form
· Book Form
· Display of All other Reports which have been created
· A button which will close down the application
In order for the user to enter in to any of these forms or reports they are required to click on any button with the left hand button of the mouse.
